This grant is available to woman-owned (at least 51%), small businesses in Western North Carolina that experienced significant loss due to Hurricane Helene.
It is our intention to open applications November 15th through December 15th. The selection committee will review applications December 15th - 20th, and awards will be made December 28th.
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Your business must be your full time job.
- Annual Revenue: Businesses must have an annual revenue of between $50,000 to 5 million.
- Business Age: Applicants must have been in business for at least two years and pay taxes on business revenue.
- Sales Channels: Eligible businesses must already have established sales channels.
Grant funds are intended to help women entrepreneurs rebuild and move forward. These funds may be used for essential business expenses such as raw materials, inventory, and salaries but cannot be applied toward existing debts or loans.
